One of the most favorite songs which have traveled the borders of Nigeria is “Sweet Mother”. This song, although it’s old it still fresh in the ears of many when played. The song “Sweet mother” is mostly played during the mother’s day celebration globally.

The man behind the iconic song “Sweet mother” is Legendary Prince Nico. He was a Nigerian/Cameroonian and was born on January 1st, 1950. His band was popularly known as Rocafil Jazz band. He released the iconic song “Sweet mother” in 1976; about 44 years ago. The music legend who is no more lost his life in a gastric accident in 1997.
