Skincare Tips to live by for a flawless look everytime are pretty simple, better believe that! Forget the Crème de la Mer, the vampire facial, the white diamond manicure or the Evian water bath if you don’t mind the little things your skin may just stay lacklustre, keeping you spending in reverse (ouch!)
Think of simple skincare tips to get your skin flawless as a simple guide in place to nudge you on your way to a skin that has zero blemishes and yes that’s achievable only if you’re disciplined about it just like with everything else.
Cleanse and Deep Cleanse
It’s not enough to just clean the face just for the sake of it, it has to be thoroughly clean (so clean you can feel it) To make sure the skin is squeaky clean, start with removing oil/dirt/makeup with gentle wipes then a deep cleanser, a facial wash and then toner to get the skin’s PH back to normal. Note that you don’t want to strip the skin of its oils so stay with products that are gentle yet effectively gets rid of dirt.
2. Let the skin breathe
Once in awhile especially when you don’t have to, ditch the makeup and let the skin breathe. Just moisturize and wear a sunscreen to allow the pores be. This helps against clogged pores that cause breakouts.
3. Exfoliate often
Exfoliate the skin once or twice weekly depending on your skintype and products (some scrubs are gentle enough to be used daily) to get rid of dead skin on the surface this ensures your skin stays baby soft and glowing.
It’s simple never skip moisturizing the face especially. This helps keep the skin hydrated and keeps the PH balanced.
5. No to sleeping with makeup on
We can’t stress this enough. Never sleep with your makeup on. During the night, the skin tries to replenish itself and it works with whatever is left on it so just imagine how sleeping with makeup will completely clog your skin! By all means leave your skin moisturized overnight with a replenishing serum instead of dirt/sebum that will clog it.
