It used to be that the arrays of corporate outfit would be grey’s and blacks and a spray of white but this days some offices allow a bit of color in the mix. Now for your corporate styles its only ideal that you dress in accordance to the rules of your organisation but notwithstanding you can get inspired from the array of corporate styles that we’ve brought below. Check out this weekday corporate styles that you can adopt;

Black + Grey

I know I said your corporate outfit doesn’t have to be black nor grey, but you’ve got to admit when it is well combined it makes one hell of a look. Therefore we suggest you go with a short sleeve body fitted top, tuck paired with a high waist flare skirt and finish off with black and white monochrome accessories.

Black + Red

Just because its your place of work doesn’t mean you can’t look alive. The color red is known to be powerful and fierce so wearing a lace dress with a cool blazer and heels is our idea for a fiery look.

Blue + Monochrome

How do you look when you are pairing a blouse and a skirt? Am sure the answer is incredible, but on a lighter note, pairing a monochrome top with a calve length pleat detailed straight skirt can liven up the environment around you.

Pink + White

You can look modest and pretty chic at the same time, you could also add powerful to the mix of things that a fabulous pink power suit (pant suit) would give to you

Blue + Orange Red

The brilliance of this two colors combined can make you think twice before wearing the mix to work, but know that the fabric you chose to combine also have a say in the look. Pairing a denim shirt with a red orange skirt is a warmer mix than you anticipated.

Folake Kuye

Stripe Blue + Yellow

There are days that you need to step it up a notch, when that day comes and you still want to look work appropriate you can rock a stripe shirt with a cord lace skirt. This mix is brilliant, warm and absolutely appropriate for work.

Posing at events in locations from Ghana to the United Kingdom and back to Nigeria, Naija celebs and influencers upped their fashion game to match the wave of fashion weeks going on around the world. Shoulders, legs and arms were flaunted in pieces that would make the stiffest of heads turn.

As usual, we were on the lookout for the most inspiring, most rave-worthy looks and we’ve got our picks!

Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage has recently been making waves around the world. From New York Fashion Week to making her debut on the runway for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief show in London, the Afro-pop star has been doing it all with style. This monochrome piece with Origami illusions dress by Matic Veler and popping coral nails just proves that.

Yvonne Nwosu

Why wait for a bouquet to arrive at your doorstep when you can be the bouquet? Popular designer and fashionista, Yvonne Nwosu of Vonne Couture relied on the Erica Moore brand to bring her look to life and they nailed it! Yvonne complemented her statement dress by keeping her makeup glam simple and elegant, adding a pop of sunshine with her shoes.

Mercy Aigbe

When it comes to aso ebi slayage, Mercy Aigbe is one Nigerian celeb that fashion and style lovers look up to. As usual, CEO Luminee created a creatively detailed aso ebi look to accentuate Mercy’s curves.

Last Week, Male Celebrities Kept It Laidback And Cool: Ebuka Didn’t

Each week, we take a look back at the past week to celebrate the best dressed male celebrities and influencers in an effort to help inspire your next outfit. Because whether you’re a style connoisseur or simply enjoy poring over some well-dressed, cosily clad dudes, we all appreciate a well-dressed man.

Fashion has a lot of high points and one of them is when an outfit turns out exactly the way it was planned in one’s head. Another is when a laidback ensemble ends up looking much more stylish than expected. This can only be achieved when one knows the dos and don’ts of fashion and style.

Fashion is a very broad subject but when mastered, even the most basic of outfits end up looking great. Laidback outfits do not have to be boring but could be kept cool and wavy – after all, that’s what rave-worthy style is about.

Last week, our favourite Nigerian male celebrity styles were not just laid-back, these men kept their style cool and sleek. From fully neutral toned outfits to prismatic looks, men in the Nigerian entertainment and fashion industries served all shades of effortless style last week and we could all definitely learn a thing or two from them.

Once again, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu served a major “father of the bride” look but made it look so appealing to the young eye. He wore an agbada set made with the popular African fabric, ‘aso-oke’ with a beautifully patterned embroidery on it.

Fashion influencer, Akin Faminu and former Big Brother Naija Contestant, Tobi Bakre did well in showing us what laidback and cool style looks like in their reflective prismatic outfits. Artists Perruzi and Reekado Banks’ style definition of laidback and cool proved different as they both stuck to all black looks which totally worked for them. We love how our SR Gents each defined what laidback and cool style is to them.

Check out the best celebrity and influencer styles from last week…
