Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki has been disqualified by the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening committee for Edo governorship election aspirants fro contesting the party’s primary election.

It means even if he will be getting his second term, it won’t be through the ruling party, through which he won the first term.

This was announced by Jonathan Ayuba, Chairman of the screening committee, while presenting his report to Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman, at the national secretariat in Abuja on Friday.

Obaseki and Oshiomohle, who was his predecessor have not been on good terms ahead of the primary election.

Obaseki had also a few days ago doubted if he will be given a fair hearing by the committee.
