Obaseki Calls for Calm Over ‘Unjust’ Disqualification

Edo Governor, Godwin, Obaseki has called on his teeming supporters to remain calm and wait for further directives after being disqualified by the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening committee for the Edo State Primary election.

The reason for his disqualification is yet to be known after Jonathan Ayuba, Chairman of the screening committee, presented his report to Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman, at the national secretariat in Abuja on Friday.

“We call on all party members and our teeming supporters to remain calm and await further directives, in the light of the announcement of my unjust disqualification to participate in @OfficialAPCNg  primary election in Edo State by the screening committee,” he tweeted.
