Nigerian singer Asa has been honored in Ivory Coast for her contribution to the fight against HIV/AIDS in the country.
The singer who was in the West African country for a concert, offered to donate proceeds from her concert to hospitals to help patients living with the HIV virus have easier access to healthcare.
For her humanitarian nature, she was crowned Queen for a few minutes on live TV.
The 33-year-old singer took to her instagram page to share the news saying she was crowned ‘Anan Queen of Ivory Coast’ for a few minutes.
“I was crowned Anan Queen of Ivory Coast 👑 RTI TV for a few minutes! I will now be referred to as HRH”
