Bandits kill chairperson of Miyetti Allah in Kaduna

The Chairman of Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi has been murdered by unknown gunmen at his residence in Kaduna.

The leader was killed in the early hours of Friday, September 17 at his residence in Lete Village after failing to meet their demands.

According to reports, the assailants stormed the house of the Chairman of Lere Local Government branch of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Kaduna State, demanding N20M ransom.

The State Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Haruna Usman Tugga confirmed his untimely death in a press statement, disclosing how the bandits killed their leader. He stated that the gunmen stormed the chairman’s resident at about 2am and brought him out, demanding N20m naira from him.

His inability to raise the N20 million, triggered the gunmen who immediately took him away and shot him dead.

He said:

“With deep sorrow and total submission to the Almighty Allah, we regret to announce the death of Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi popularity known as Dambardi the Chairman MACBAN, Let’s Local Government Area Branch.

The Chairman was killed in the early hours of today, 17th September, 2021 at about 2:00am in his town Lere, in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State

“………… Thereafter, they took him along the Saminaka Mariri Zange Highway and killed him there,”.

Tugga appealed to Kaduna State government and the Security Agencies to thoroughly investigate and bring the culprits to book.
