Barca has finally replaced a player who might be preferred than Messi, new No 10 jersey

Barcelona have handed their no. 10 shirt to Ansu Fati, following Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The club officially confirmed this on Wednesday.

Barca had considered leaving the number unused for the 2021/2022 season. However, LaLiga rules insist first-team players must wear numbers 1-25.

Ansu, who only returned to training following a nine-month injury layoff, had initially been given the No. 17 shirt for the upcoming campaign.

The forward has previously worn No. 22 and No. 33 since making his debut for the Catalans in 2019.

Messi wore the No. 10 at Barca since 2008, having previously worn No. 30 and No. 19.

The Argentina forward inherited the No. 10 shirt from Ronaldinho, with Juan Roman Riquelme and Rivaldo among those to wear it before him.

Francis Uzoho’s contract with Apoel FC has been terminated.

The Cypriot First Division club has confirmed both parties have parted ways by mutual consent.

The Super Eagles goalkeeper will now continue his career elsewhere, despite having two years left on his current contract.

After completing his loan spell at AC Omonia, the 22-year-old joined the Legend in July 2020 on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

During the 2020/2021 campaign, Uzoho featured in 18 league fixtures as Sofronis Avgousti’s men finished third on the log.

No reason was given for the termination of Uzoho’s contract.

“The company Apoel Football (public) limited announces the completion of its cooperation with goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

“We wish Francis the best of luck,” a statement from the club website read.

Uzoho is currently with the Nigeria national team, ahead of their 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

Ronaldo confesses who forced him to return back home ,Man utd

Cristiano Ronaldo has said legendary Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was the “main key” behind his decision to return to the club.

The 36-year-old has completed a sensational return to Old Trafford, after spending three years with Juventus.

Ronaldo spent six years under Ferguson before departing for Real Madrid in 2009.

However, the two men have remained close and Ferguson spoke to the player in the days before his return to the Theatre of Dreams.

“As everybody knows, since I signed for Manchester [United] at 18, Sir Alex Ferguson was the key.

“I remember when we played against Manchester when I was at Sporting Lisbon. For me, Sir Alex Ferguson is like a father in football for me.

“He helped me a lot, he taught me many things. In my opinion of course he had a big role because of the relationship that we had, we keep in touch all the time, and he’s an unbelievable person.

“I really like him a lot and he was the main key for me to be in the position that I am, that I signed for Manchester United,” Ronaldo told MUTV.
