French side Olympique Lyon who last weekend defeated Pep Guardiola’s Man City for a place in the UCL semifinal against Germany champions Bayern Munich only to be discarded with utter nonchalance by Robert Lewanwoski and cohorts.Â
Former Arsenal trainee and player Serge Gnabry score twice in the first half to give Bayern the lead going into the break. Lyon came back out the second half looking like a team willing to push its luck and do the unthinkable only to be further crushed by the Polish Pele Robert Lewandowski to quench the French side’s flicker of hope.
Robert Lewandowski now has 15 goals in this season’s Uefa Champions League just two goals shy of Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 17 goals in a single UCL season. Ronaldo set his record in 2013-2014 season under Carlo Ancelotti in 11 games, Lewandowski can achieve he’s in 10 games.Â
The final is set for Sunday 23rd of August 2020, Bayern Munich will take on French champions Paris Saint Germain PSG.
