The 62nd Independence day celebration was held at the Eagles Sqaure Abuja with President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and their spouses in attendance.

Others in attendance were former President Goodluck Jonathan, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, and a host of others.
