Nigeria has recorded an additional 276 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
Lagos has 161 cases, Rivers-36, Edo-27, Kaduna-19, Nasarawa-10, Oyo-6, Kano-4, Delta-3, Ebonyi-3, Gombe-2, Ogun-1, Ondo-1, Borno-1, Abia-1, and Bauchi-1.
With the total confirmed cases now 8344 in Nigeria,2385 patients have been discharged while 249 deaths have been recorded.

NSCIA meets CAN on worship centres’ reopening
The Christian Association of Nigeria and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) have begun drafting guidelines, which will prevent the spread of COVID-19 in churches and mosques after the reopening of worship centers in the country.
The apex Islamic and Christian groups in the country said the guidelines would be submitted to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for review and advice.
It also revealed that a committee has been set up and it was working on the guidelines.
It was also gathered that CAN would on Wednesday hold a virtual meeting on guidelines for Christian worship centres to discuss the topic.
Two more COVID-19 cases confirmed in Ibadan firm
The Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force has confirmed two more COVID-19 cases from iSON Xperiences. The government also confirmed one case each from Ibadan South West and Egbeda local government council areas of the state.
Governor Seyi Makinde who stated this via his Twitter handle, on Tuesday, said the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State now stands at 244.

The number of cases from iSON Xperiences is now 151.
Abuja discharges another 12 COVID-19 patients
Twelve successfully treated COVID-19 patients have been discharged in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.,
This was disclosed by the FCT Minister, Muhammed Bello, on Tuesday via Twitter.
According to him, the new recoveries bring the total number of discharged patients in the capital city to 145.
