Nigerian singer and record label executive, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable Zazu, has disclosed why he did not perform at the inauguration concert of the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu which took place on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Abuja.
Portable revealed that his manager was contacted before the show and was told that the singer would be paid N5 million instead of the N10 million that he’d requested. The “Zazu” crooner then rejected the offer.

In a Update posted on his Instagram page, Portable, a loyal supporter of the President-elect, criticised other artists who performed at the event.
According to him, they did not support Tinubu as openly as he did during the 2023 election.

Portable lamented how he was criticised for supporting Tinubu only to be sidelined.
