The article written by President Muhamadu Buhari in a Christian magazine seems to be generating a lot of reactions.
This time around, it is coming from the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2020 election, Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting to the statement made by Buhari that 90 percent of the Boko Haram terrorists are Muslims, Atiku said irrespective of their religion, the killing of any human being ought to be condemned unequivocally.
“We mustn’t rationalise killings. Whether Christian, Muslim, Traditionalist, or Atheist, the killing of any human being, by Boko Haram, or any misguided group, is wrong & should be condemned unequivocally. There is no compulsion in religion. Only love.-AA,” he tweeted.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) held a nationwide rally on Sunday in protest of alleged persecution of Christians.
The protest is coming in the wake of the murder of CAN chairman in Michika, Adamawa, by the deadly group.
