Former NBA President Okey Wali Regains Freedom From Abductors

Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Okey Wali, who was kidnapped two weeks ago has regained his freedom.

Lifestyle Nigeria reports that Wali, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, was abducted by armed men dressed in military uniform at the Obiri-Kwere area of the East-West Road in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on April 18, 2023.

The NBA chairman, Port Harcourt Branch, Viktor Benibo, confirmed Wali’s release on Monday, May 1, 2023.

He said; “He is in his house. He was released in the early hours of today.”

Recall that the ex-NBA President was in October 2014 abducted by unknown persons in the Port Harcourt area of Rivers State.
