As part of efforts to accelerate national development an entrepreneur and Founder/CEO Chiniella Beauty, Chineye Daniella Otabil, has tasked the federal government to grow the creative industry.
The entrepreneur, who was a Special Guest at the 2023 Diaspora Day and Awards organised by the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), recently in Abuja, stressed the need to grow the creative industry in Nigeria, fueled by the country’s youthful, energetic and aspirational population.
While addressing journalists at the event with the theme: Consolidating Diaspora Engagement For National Development, the CEO expressed keen interest in continuing to build bridges between Nigerian entrepreneurs and professionals based in Nigeria and Nigerians living in the Diaspora.
According to the business owner, “We have spent the last 10 years building a reputation predicated upon excellence, reliability, quality and ultimately giving our clients the utmost satisfactory experience.
“This has allowed us to amass a clientele comprising of actresses, celebrities, socialites, royalties and other eminent personalities globally.”
She further stated that Chiniella Beauty recently diversified its offers from services alone to include products, through its subsidiary, Varda Beauty.
Otabil explained that Varda Beauty would cater for the needs of the African woman, globally, based on insights gathered over the last 10 years from serving over 3,000 clients including Wife of former Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, Wife of late President Musa Yar’Adua, Aisha Yar’ardua, Bamike Adenibuyan (Bambam), Waje, Erica, Ceec, Lilo Aderogba, Laura Ikeji, and Oj Posharella (Real Housewives of Abuja), among others.
The entrepreneur, whose work has taken her to different parts of the globe including Dubai, London, South Africa, Liberia, and Ghana, given her philanthropic nature has empowered a lot of young people, especially those who needed to start businesses of their own.
Blueprint Weekend reports that the beauty and brain has also partnered with some NGO’s in order to empower young women, especially in rural areas in Nigeria.
