Gunmen abduct monarch in Bayelsa

A traditional ruler has been abducted alongside a 50 year-old woman and a middle-aged man at Otuabula Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Those abducted are the deputy paramount ruler of the community, Chief Otia Isomom, Mrs. Lucy Osain and Mr. Friday Abah, who were all whisked into a waiting speedboat.
The gunmen numbering about 20, are understood to have invaded the community and abducted the victims around 1am on Monday.
Police spokesman in Bayelsa State, SP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the kidnap, said that police are intensifying efforts in rescuing the abducted victims, while investigation is ongoing.
A resident, who witnessed the incident, said he was stabbed but luckily escaped from being kidnapped.

Actress Sikiratu Sindodo debunks new child rumour

Nollywood actress, Tayo Odueke, also known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has debunked rumours about her welcoming a child.
The actress took to her Instagram page to address the rumour because she has been getting congratulatory messages and of course families attacking her for keeping her good news from them.
Sikiratu said it’s not true and the account that posted it is a fake account. She said she was never pregnant recently so the news is utterly false.
According to her, a fake account with the name of another actress, Kemi Afolabi, had posted an edited picture of her (Sikiratu) with a baby.
. also congratulated the actress for her newborn.
She said, “Only on Facebook tori olohun. Even my family members are angry I didn’t tell them I gave birth …….without being pregnant ….I was even given an Arabian baby (omolomo)
“Disclaimer. After receiving numerous calls since 3days ago, I had no choice than to come out …I am in no way connected to this cute baby.”

Singer Sina Rambo and his wife welcome baby girl (photos)
Nigerian singer, Sina Adeleke popularly known as Sina Rambo, and his wife, Korth, have welcomed a baby girl.
The excited new dad shared the news on his Instagram page this morning.
“Baby Lola is here!!! Join me and welcome our sweet lil ?Adelola Yohanna Marlyn Esther Adeleke. She is sooooo beautiful ” he wrote
Sina and Korth got married in October 2021. Congrats to them!
