Doing something complex like baking can seem like the antithesis of self-care, but it can be rewarding to put some time and effort into something and see that product come to life. You can bake anything from bread to more complicated pastries and desserts.

It is your self-care; do what you want! A hobby like this can take your mind off more difficult aspects of your life, and at the end of the day, you’ll have some delicious food to eat and share with friends and family.

Take Some Alone Time

Much like these other points, you deserve to get away from everything and focus on yourself during your day. You can do this by spending some time in the kitchen or lounging in the hot tub, or on the other hand, you can be incredibly active. Self-care is a personal thing, and you are not trying to satisfy anyone else, only yourself. If you want to go on a hike up a mountain, you should do it. If you want to go to a movie by yourself, do it. The only one stopping you is yourself.
