I personally love trying out natural beauty DIY projects.
Recently, I discovered that you can use water melon for your skin like a toner. Cool right? A fruit that you can eat, make a healthy juice from and even use for beauty purposes! Indeed, you can use watermelon as a toner and this will hydrate your skin while refreshing it and give you clear skin.
Watermelon is full of vitamins such as Vitamin A, B6 and C and it’s also packed with lycopene and amino acids which all combine to contribute towards healthy skin. Watermelon is also great for wrinkles, fine lines and age spots as the vitamin A decreases the size of the skin pores and minimizes excessive oil and that makes it great for acne prone skin. In addition, the watermelon helps brighten the dull look of the face caused by dust, pollution and exposure to ultra violet rays and this makes the skin look younger and healthier.
Simply mix five tablespoons of watermelon juice with one tablespoon of pure honey, put it in a spray bottle and apply this on your face after cleansing, wait for it to dry then rinse your face and then go ahead and apply your moisturizer. Store any remaining watermelon toner in the fridge and change it after 4 days.
