“How Zlatan helped me get my first record deal” – Shallipopi

Nigerian musician, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi has disclosed how rap artist, Zlatan Ibile gave his career the boost it needed.

During am interview on the Zero Conditions podcast, Shallipopi recounted how he reached out to the ‘Lagos Anthem’ crooner via social media and much to his shock, the Hip Hop star replied.

After the surprising response, he asked Zlatan Ibile to hop on the remix of his song, Elon Musk.

The 23-year-old Plutomania crooner revealed that when he hit the studio with him, that was where he met his now (former) record label boss, Dapper, the CEO of Dvpper Music.

The budding singer recently left Dvpper Music to launch Plutomania Records and signed two new artistes.

Shallipopi also said that he reached out to a number of artistes for the remix but Zlatan was the only person who replied him and without delay.
