Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has got people talking after she bragged that she can afford to buy any man she desires with money.

The thespian made this controversial assertion during an Instagram live session while sharing her thoughts about marriage.

According to her, marriage is not for everyone. However, she’s able to buy any man of her preference if she so desires.

Nkechi Blessing, who declared that she could decide not to marry, said that given her financial resources, she might just buy a partner, house him, and exert whatever level of control she wishes over him.

“No be everybody come this life say dem won marry. I can comfortably buy a man with the little change that I have, you dey hear English. I can comfortably buy a guy and put him in my house. I will say sit down there; he will stay until I tell him to move.” She said.

Price Of Cooking Gas Rises By 7.10% In March – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said the average price of 5kg cooking gas rose from N6,154.50 recorded in February 2024 to N6,591.62 in March 2024.

Lifestyle Nigeria reports that ths was contained in the Bureau’s “Cooking Gas Price SEE’’ for March 2024 released on Friday in Abuja.

The report said the March price represented a 7.10 per cent increase, compared to what was obtained in February 2024.

The Bureau said the average price of 5kg of cooking gas increased on a year-on-year basis by 42.97 per cent from N4,610.48 recorded in March 2023 to N6,591.62 in March 2024.

On state profile analysis, the report revealed that Kano recorded the highest average price at N7,609.00, followed by Ogun at N7,363.64, and Akwa Ibom at N7,162.50

It said on the other hand, Adamawa recorded the lowest price at N5,312.50, followed by Taraba and Zamfara at N5,375.00 and N5,550.00, respectively.

Analysis by zone indicated that the South-South recorded the highest average retail price at N7,003.08, followed by the South-West at N6,723.22.

“The North-East recorded the lowest average retail price at N6,221.30,” the NBS said.

Okuama Ogenerukevwe released – .

The Nigerian Army on Friday, released the King of Ewu Kingdom, Clement Ikolo, who had been in detention following the killing of 17 personnel in Okuama community in Delta on March 14.

The traditional had surrendered himself after he was declared wanted alongside seven other suspects by the army in connection with the incident.

Ikolo was handed over the Senator Representing Delta Central, Sen. Ede Dafinone by the Director, Army Public Relations, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu.

While briefing newsmen on the release of the traditional ruler, Nwachukwu said the army authorities decided to release the royal father on bail to the senator after preliminary investigation.

He said that while there were no sufficient evidence of the traditional ruler’s culpability, it was also too early to exonerate anyone form the dastardly act.

Army spokesperson said the manhunt for those who perpetrated the crime directly, supported or knew about it, was ongoing.

According to him, Ikolo in whose domain the dastardly act took place, surrendered to the Nigeria Police, who in turn handed him over to the Nigerian army.

“Since his surrender, the Nigerian Army has painstakingly reviewed every available information on the incident and has come to some preliminary observations and inferences.

Lifestyle Nigeria gathered that Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, was involved in a hot exchange with ex-governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.

Melaye accused Ortom of anti-party activities during the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking at a North Central zonal leadership meeting of PDP in Abuja on Wednesday, Melaye said Ortom’s anti-party activities led to PDP losing both the presidential and governorship elections in Benue.

He expressed surprise that the former governor could attend a PDP meeting despite his previous disloyalty to the party.

This led to a hot exchange between both PDP chieftains.
