I know you probably hate me for saying I would be there for you till the end and leaving but I did it for me!!! I had to protect my peace. You were so inconsistent it hurt, except when it came to taking my money.
I would literally spend my whole money on you, go the extra mile because I thought that was what love was about until I came across a post that woke me up.
You were so much older than me but you never said anything to build me up, you never even gave me any money (not that it was my problem). Instead it was always random talks, sex and all.
As a young baby girl that I am I had to opt out to wait for one who would help me grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, someone who would challenge me intellectually and push me to be better. I had to leave you to be with someone who wouldn’t take my money; someone who would add to my life.
You also had addictions you had to deal with and no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t ignore them or turn a blind eye. You didn’t even want try to stay in church where things could get better. As far as you were concerned, every pastor had one issue or the other. I don’t regret leaving you, but I have no hard feelings against you.
I will always have you in my heart because true love would never wish hurt on the other. Thank you for the good times.
