Afrobeat star, Davido has revealed that he would have been a stand-up comedian of not for his musical career.

Describing why he could have pursued a career in comedy, Davido during a documentary filmed by YouTuber, Tayo Aina stated that he is known for his joyful disposition and an unwavering desire to spread happiness among others.

According to him, he knows how it feels to be unhappy and would not even wish it on his enemies.

He said

“If I was not doing music, I would have been a stand-up comedian. I’m a funny guy. In school, I was the type to always make people laugh. That transcended into my entertainment, music, and being a people person,”
“I know how it feels to not feel good. That bad feeling, I wouldn’t wish it on even my enemy.”

Two ladies loot N300k-per-night hotel room before checking out

Two Nigerian ladies caused a buzz on social media after they looted a N300,000-per-night hotel room they lodged in.

In one of the two videos shared on TikTok by one of the friends, @mhiz_kinky1, they said they couldn’t pay N300,000 and leave empty-handed.

The items they took included frames, tissues, towels, cups, and beverages.

@mhiz_kinky1 could be heard saying the bag they are putting the items in is small and they would have brought a bigger one if they knew they would loot the hotel room.

The other lady said in the second Update that she would go and buy a bag they could put the items.

Nigerian Chess Master, Tunde Onakoya has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest continuous chess marathon.

Tunde who doubles as an entrepreneur and philanthropists is known for his unique charitable work of gathering children in the slum areas of Lagos educating them and teaching them about Chess embarked on the journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon in the heart of New York City’s Times Square.

He aimed to engage in a 58-hour-long chess session without facing a single defeat. He disclosed that his endeavor is fueled by a profound mission to uplift underprivileged children.

He said “Doing this for the dreams of millions of children across Africa without access to education”.

Nigerian influencer Precious Kingsley aka Nickie Dabarbie has reacted to a coming N1b lawsuit by singer Mayorkun after she accused him of being a ritualist.

The IG Model maintained her stance, claiming that Mayorkun was present on the night in question and had been the one to give a weird drink.

Recall Nickie had accused singer Skiibii of trying to use her for rituals and later fingered Mayorkun also.

The singer had demanded 1 billion naira in damages and an apology from the IG model but rather than comply, she had further accused the musician of being complicit.

She said he’d been the one to give her the impression that she was safe enough to relax and drink the coffee which she claimed had spiritual properties.
