Nigerian American star, Yvonne Orji, who .s Molly on one of our fave shows, Insecure, has signed a book deal for her faith-based novel, Bamboozled By Jesus, How God Tricked Me Into The Life Of My Dreams (And 20 Lessons I Learned Along The Way).
If there’s something Yvonne Orji is vocal about other than her Nigerian heritage, it will be her faith and decision to abstain from sex until marriage. Now she is exploring those things in her upcoming advice book, in which she touches on 20 life lessons from her journey, family and the Bible. The book also promises to include her insight into saving for the rainy day, thinking outside the box with her signature brand of comedy, of course.
According to the publishers, Flatiron Books, Bamboozled By Jesus is” A frank and fresh advice book, filed with one woman’s authentic journey to understand her life and nuggets of wisdom she has uncovered along the way.”
2018 has been good to Yvonne – from her first feature film debut in Night School to the production of her comedy series, First Gen. And so, we’re curious to see how she describes her career growth as a Nigerian-American in her book.
