Instagram Returns Toyin Lawani’s Nude Independence Day Photo – Lifestyle Nigeria

Controversial celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani-Adebayo’s semi-nude Independence Day photo has been reinstated by Instagram, the photo and Update sharing platform after complaints by some Nigerians of making obscenity in the national colours.

GWG.NG reports that Toyin Lawani who had in the past stoked strong reactions over her near nude pictures and videos had decorated herself in Nigerian colours of Lifestyle Nigeria without bra and her very intimate parts barely covered in Nigerian colours.

The photo which was uploaded on Independence Day on Instagram and Twitter on October 1, 2022 to mark Nigeria’s independence was, however, questioned by several who saw it as obscene.

She had captioned the picture thus:

“Happy Independence Day from the King of Fashion.”

The picture was, however, reportedly taken down by Instagram after someone reportedly reported it as against the platform’s code.

Toyin Lawani claims she ranted at Instagram and the Independence Day photo was returned after she affirmed that she wasn’t  nude as was reported by some critics.

Responding, she was quoted as saying:

“For wearing me church cloth and ranting, oya take this one rest small, They even reported my picture and instagram took it down but after kee for them they returned it Like there’s no nudity here na.

“Who-else was expecting the [email protected] you do this one, this song can’t leave my Brain.

One thing about me, Regardless of your rants,will always do what makes me happy, Some people even Remind me everytime I’m a mother of three, pls how do mother look or behave, Are they in bondage?Happiness is free,Live, have fun with no regrets, Who say you can’t be a top Boss and be goofy asf. haven’t met TIANNAH the king of all Queens Later ask me why do you look so young everytime.”
