Popular dancer, Korra Obiri, has reacted to her marriage crash with husband, Justin Dean.

Recall that Justin had cried out weeks ago, stating he would be having a divorce with his wife a few days after welcoming their second child, Athena.

According to a series of posts he has made on his social media, Justin stated that Korra had cheated in the past and has some offensive traits he could no longer endure.

Since then, Korra had acted oblivious to the marriage crisis, posting more about her book, her children and her dance.

This had created an uproar among their fans who had seen the couple in a light different from what they portrayed.

However, Korra had finally reacted in an Instagram live, where she had pleaded with her fans for letting them down and also hoped she would get better with time.

Korra stated that she is going through tough times and dancing has been helping her cope so she can be available to her children, especially the newborn.

She said, “I decided to address some of the things that have been going on. I really don’t want to wash my linen in public because I know the Internet never forgets.

“First, I want to apologise to everyone who saw the perfect depiction of a family and the inter-racial love I projected online and bought into it.

“And now, they are disappointed with what is going on. I am sorry you had to see that and now, you have to see everything crashing. I want to apologise to you, my beloved fans.

“You might see me looking strong and dancing, trying to keep things together. When you see me doing that, just know I am trying to hold things together and be strong for my girls.

“Trying to keep things together is how I cope. I cope with dance. I can read the comments of people, but I am not going to say anything bad about my husband because I know it would be damaging to my family.

“It takes two in every marriage. I am the only one in the United States of America. I have a two-year-old daughter and a newborn baby. My (extended) family members are not based here.

“I just want you all to know what I am going through right now. I am not a robot. I am just trying to make ends meet. I am trying to be the strong figure my girls can look up to and emulate.

“When I am strong, I will tell my own side of the story. Till then, please be empathetic and kind with your words. If I don’t take care of my girls, no one will.

“I am just trying to keep my sanity. I don’t want to say anything I would regret. Please keep me in your prayers and remember that I am only human.”

Court dissolves marriage over doubtful paternity

An Igando Customary Court in Lagos State has ordered the dissolution of the marriage between Mr. Jose Salami and Mrs. Sola Jaiyeola, on grounds of the doubtful paternity of their only child.

Vanguard reports that in a petition filed before the court, Salami, a resident of Number 9, Bakare St., Igando, Lagos State, said he doubted the paternity of the only child produced by the union.

“In March 2013, she said she was a month pregnant for me; so, I arranged for a traditional marriage to be done. But to my surprise, my wife put to bed in July of that same year, and when I asked how possible it was, she waived it aside.

In his judgment, the President of the court, Adeniyi Koledoye, said that it appeared the love between the couple had since perished. He noted that the respondent did not show up in court in spite of several summons.

“There is no doubt that the respondent was in another relationship from which she was pregnant, and perhaps the pregnancy was rejected and she decided to hang it on the petitioner. However, the petitioner ought to have opted out of the marriage immediately he discovered that the paternity of the child was doubtful. It is clear the petitioner was deceived into the marriage by the respondent,” the judge held

Koledoye, therefore, dissolved the marriage and ordered the respondent to pay N200,000 to the petitioner.
