The talented singer shared part of her grass to grace story on her social media space and fans and followers can’t help but to marvel at the hardship the beautiful singer once passed through.

According to her, there was a time in her life that she couldn’t afford to feed without collecting items on credit. It was so terrible that she was always in the habit of collecting food stuffs on credit. Not once, not twice had she collected a cup of rice, but she couldn’t afford to pay after several days.

Back then, she was constantly facing humiliation and disgrace. She was name shamed at a point before providence smiled on her and her fortune changed. Guess the fact that she became an orphan at a tender age contributed to her plight .

Being the first of seven children, she had to see to the welfare of her younger siblings till they could stand on their feet and handle their responsibilities themselves. The turning point was when she yielded to the call of God on her life and started singing. It wasn’t even rosy at first because she was in the habit of ministering for free instead of charging for any of her appearance. When her band members threatened to quit, she said she consulted God and started charging for ministering.

Now, the mother of three through her foundation has reached out to several women. She has been blessed to the point of building a four bedroom flat for a widow.

When she started her Chioma Jesus charity foundation, she could only give out fifty wrappers but now, God has blessed her so much that she can conveniently give out 2000 wrappers at once without her feeling it.
