Man Tortured To Death in Benue Over Missing Goat
Some angry residents in Benue state are clamping down on a suspected goat thief and beating him to death.
The incident that threw the region into total silence occurred in the state’s Ushongo Local Government Area.

It was recorded that the deceased was caught in the area while stealing a goat. Angered by his actions, he was beaten to death by a mob in the area.
In response to the incident, the local government chairman ordered the police to arrest the people involved in the suspect’s beating and death.

Police officers, however, swung into action and arrested some young men who had been fingered in the tragic incident.
