Manchester United interim coach, Ralf Rangnick has revealed his fall-out with Anthony Martial has been resolved following clear-the-air talks with the Frenchman.

Rangnick claimed that Martial, who is pushing for a move this January transfer window, told him that he did not want to be in the squad for Saturday\’s trip to Aston Villa.

This triggered an angry response from the 26-year-old French striker who posted a message on social media saying that he would never refuse to play for United or disrespect the club.

Interim boss Rangnick has now confirmed that the two men had met to discuss their differences at Carrington on Sunday and the matter was now closed.
