Margery Okadigbo: APC will get 40% of votes in 2023 general election

Latest entertainment gist

Senator Margery Chuba Okadigbo, the coordinator of the Tinubu/Shetima campaign council in Anambra State, believes her party would win more than 40 per cent of the vote in the upcoming presidential election on February 25.

At the launch of the organising committee for the Anambra Rally in Awka, Senator Okadigbo’s confident presence was felt through Senator Emma Anosike, who noted that the party’s newfound strength has become a source of fear for other political parties and their candidates in the state.

She thinks the South East should learn that putting all of its eggs in one basket is risky.

People who don’t believe in the APC’s support in Anambra state’s upcoming February elections would be taken aback by the outcome.

This is because “we are already sure of at least 40 Percent Votes In Anambra state, and we know that other campaign organisations are apprehensive about this and feel threatened because of that.”

“In politics everyone would not belong to the same party and that has been the bane of the South East geopolitical zone at every general election and at this time we don’t need to put our eggs in one basket.”

Also speaking was Hon. Sir Azuka Okwuosa, Chairman of the Rally Planning Committee and a former aspirant for the governorship. He said that those trying to create a crisis in the party are only hurting themselves and that the party has solved all of the burning problems with the campaign council.

“In politics it is normal for people to have some little or minimal issues but they have all been resolved and everyone is back to the family.”

Sir Chris Chikwelu, chairman of the State Campaign Council’s publicity committee, called on party members to do everything they could to ensure the party’s triumph in the state.
