Fendi unveiled its first ever couture collection yesterday in Paris pulling out the guns for the show. And Noami Campbell proved she’s still the queen of the runway when she closed the show for Kim Jones’ debut collection for the Italian fashion house that took place at the Palais Brongniart on Tuesday.
The supermodel made sure all eyes were on her wearing a statement, silver metallic marble print dress which came complete with a dramatic floor-sleeping cape. The couture look was accessorized with an elaborate headpiece that added extra glam to her slicked-back tight bun.
Taking to Instagram, Naomi expressed her gratitude for being part of the show, calling it an ‘Ethereal Fantasy.’
“Thank you @mrkimjones @silviaventurinifendi & team @fendi for letting me be part of your Ethereal Fantasy!! In your 1st Fendi Couture show,” Campbell wrote on her Instagram while sharing the stunning look.
Joining the supermodel on the catwalk was none other than Christy Turlington, Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Demi Moore, Kate Moss, alongside her daughter Lila Grace Moss Hack, who stunned the audience in the house’s spring/summer 2021 collection.
The collection carries the season it’s made for perfectly, offering a stellar range of evening dresses and a mix of menswear-inspired pantsuits with strong, feminine silhouettes and timeless appeal. “Vain trifles as they seem, clothes have, they say, more important offices than to merely keep us warm. They change our view of the world and the world’s view of us,” the show note reads.
