The cause of death of Glee star Naya Rivera has been revealed by the Ventura Country medical examiner and according to them the actress died of accidental drowning. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office released the autopsy’s findings on Tuesday, July 14, confirming that the body found on Monday was the 33-year-old actress.

$\"NAYA$ The family of Naya Rivera have also put out an official statement paying Tribute to the Late Naya Rivera. ‘We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers for Naya, Josey and our family over the past week. ‘While we grieve the loss of our beautiful legend, we are blessed to honor her everlasting legacy and magnetic spirit. Naya was an amazing talent, but was an even greater person, mother, daughter and sister.

‘Thank you to the men and women of the Ventura, Tulare, and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Departments for your commitment and unwavering effort to find Naya,’ the statement added. ‘We extend endless gratitude and ovation to the heroine who found her. Thank you to her friends, colleagues, and fans for your continuous support. ‘Heaven gained our sassy angel. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this very difficult time.’

A Nigerian music producer and singer, Phillip Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, has joined the billion streams gang after hitting one billion streams across streaming platforms.

The renowned Nigerian singer took to his social media handles to celebrate his feat on Wednesday.

Pheelz said achieving such a new milestone in his music career was a great achievement for him.

The Nigerian singer revealing the songs that made him reach such a milestone wrote: Triibe Leader, Billi boy and The tribe is forever.

Pheelz had one of the smoothest producer-to-artist transitions in the Nigerian music industry, when he released his debut single: “Finesse,” featuring fellow singer, Bnxn, formerly known as Buju, which enjoyed massive commercial success.

The producer-cum-artist has gone further to release more hit songs like Electricity, featuring Davido and Jelo, where he featured fellow producer and singer Young Jonn, and Stand By You amongst others.

Pheelz was featured by American superstar, Usher, on a song titled: “Ruin,” which was one of the tenth single off the latter’s ninth studio album: “Coming Home,” released on February 9, 2024.

Two ladies loot N300k-per-night hotel room before checking out

Two Nigerian ladies caused a buzz on social media after they looted a N300,000-per-night hotel room they lodged in.

In one of the two videos shared on TikTok by one of the friends, @mhiz_kinky1, they said they couldn’t pay N300,000 and leave empty-handed.

The items they took included frames, tissues, towels, cups, and beverages.

@mhiz_kinky1 could be heard saying the bag they are putting the items in is small and they would have brought a bigger one if they knew they would loot the hotel room.

The other lady said in the second Update that she would go and buy a bag they could put the items.

Tunde who doubles as an entrepreneur and philanthropists is known for his unique charitable work of gathering children in the slum areas of Lagos educating them and teaching them about Chess embarked on the journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon in the heart of New York City’s Times Square.

He aimed to engage in a 58-hour-long chess session without facing a single defeat. He disclosed that his endeavor is fueled by a profound mission to uplift underprivileged children.

He said “Doing this for the dreams of millions of children across Africa without access to education”.
