Rev Fr Kelvin Ugwu has revealed that he was receiving threatening messages and insults being sent to him in the past weeks.
Ugwu claimed that there might be a plan to taint his image and reputation and as well get him arrested or killed.
In a post via his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, the outspoken cleric claimed that one of the threats he received has to do with his post about the recently launched Nigeria Air.
He had in the post said that, “If you are føolish enough to even entertain the thought of ever boarding anything called Nigeria Air, at least, be wise enough to say your last prayers before boarding”.
However, Ugwu claimed that the situation of the launch of “fake Nigeria Air” demanded hard words.
He also expressed dissatisfaction with the way President Bola Tinubu announced the removal of fuel subsidy, noting that it was done without tactic, empathy, groundwork, and common sense.
He wrote, “I have been receiving threatening messages and insults these past weeks. I know there is a plan to taint my image and reputation. Maybe there is also a plan to get me arrested or killed.
