Mercy Aigbe is a successful woman by all ramifications. She is an amazing actress and a great businesswoman. She has two kids, the older one who just started University in Canada and a younger son. A few days ago, a script from a certain scriptwriter surfaced on social media claiming her much-celebrated house was bought by a governor who many have alleged is Governor Ambode of Lagos state. The letter also allegedly mentioned OAP Toke Makinwa as one of the beneficiaries of a house by the same governor.

In her defence, Mercy has now come out on Instagram to debunk these rumours and warn the “mumu scriptwriter” to stop peddling rumours about her as the house and other things were as a result of hard work and God’s grace. Here’s what she really said:

“Dear Bloggers, the mumu upcoming script writer! and association of instablog bad belle, jobless commentators….this house you see in this picture was bought with my hard work and God’s grace( not that I owe y’all an explanation)……..since you have taken it upon yourselves to be in my business, pls employ a very good private investigator, a pastor, an Alfa or a Babalawo to help you in further investigations….so you won’t be peddling stupid rumours that has no iota of truth in it!….let me quickly warn you that more is coming oh!!!
Because something HUGE is cooking 😄😁😁😁
I am just getting started 😁😁💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Just one house una wan DIE !!!!!!
Wait till you see what is next!…..
RADARADA…….”

She didn’t stop there o! Omojuwa was one of the people who came to her defence on Twitter and she responded with this post:

Well, it’s too unfortunate that people still attribute women’s achievements to men and sugar daddies in 2018. Thankfully, the current and upcoming slew of successful women aren’t slowing down on securing their bag in spite of the toxic rumours.

We’re not one to peddle rumours but this gist was too hot to not run by you guys. What can you make of this? Do you think she should have bothered responding?
