The Oluwo of Iwo land, Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1), is set to tie the knot with the Emir of Kano’s niece, Princess Firdauz Abdullahi.
The wedding is set to hold at the Madakin of Kano’s residence on March 19, 2022.
A reception which is strictly for ladies, follows at The Gidan Rumfa, the palace of the Emir of Kano.
According to reports, the 27-year-old, Firdauz, is “extremely beautiful”.
The monarch was formerly married to his Jamaican wife, Chanel Chin, but the marriage had ended due to irreconcilable differences.
He described the marriage as a fraudulently arranged union of four years. According to him, his ex-wife almost poisoned him after she was paid to do so.
