Hosted by Eku Edewor, there was also a duo of female DJs; DJ Trace and DJ Vvadaa who kept guests entertained while they .ed beach volleyball, posed for photos in the . pool and visited the SheaMoisture experience centres.
The experience centres showcased SheaMoisture’s lifestyle range which caters to all hair/skin types and needs across women, men, children and babies. There were pamper suites offering massages, manicures/pedicures and facials to guests. You could also get personalized hair consultations at the braid bar and the men were not left out! as there was a barber lounge for them. The experience enabled guests to try out the full range of products. And what’s more? Guests left with a goodie bag of SheaMoisture products. Now, you’re probably wishing you were there.
It was indeed an unforgettable experience for the over 300 guests who attended the event including Eki Ogunbor, Nicole Chikwe, Andrea Iyamah, Uti Nwachukwu, Vimbai Mutinhiri, Kaylah Oniwo, Ink Eze, Oreka Godis and Afua Osei

Because we’re all about women empowerment, it’s one of the things we love most about the brand. Here’s what Olufunke Faweya, the SheaMoisture’s director of Africa operations said during the event “as a purpose-driven business, our goal is to empower women to thrive and prosper much like Sofi Tucker, our co-founder’s grandmother, did. This is why Community Commerce, a business model that creates opportunities for women entrepreneurs across our entire value chain is at the heart of everything we do at SheaMoisture.
To host today’s event we partnered with some amazing companies led by local Nigerian businesswomen. Thank you all for being here to support them.”
