“Social media gave me a wrong idea about love”- Lady cries out

A South African woman has taken to Twitter platform to narrate how her years on social media negatively influenced her love life.

According to the user, identified as @Shakirah_Dramat, social media made her believe that a man is supposed to buy his woman expensive things if he actually loves her.

She used to believe that, if your man doesn’t shower you with money and gifts during the relationship, then he is not right for you and he doesn’t love you. You only know how your man values you through the way he spends on you.

She however added that it took her years to unlearn that expectation and to understand that everyone has their own love language.

Twitter user reveals that his cousin committed suicide over unemployment

A young man identified as Samson has reportedly taken his own life because he couldn’t secure a job to take care of himself.

Twitter user, Adedayo Ben Lanre, who is a cousin to the deceased, shared the sad news on social media, lamenting over his death.

Today is the worst day of my life. Not the best news to start the week… My closest cousin committed suicide overnight due to unemployment. Samson why?”, Lanre tweeted.

Unemployment is a serious threat ravaging the country right now, as most Nigerians especially graduates, still roam about with their brown envelopes, seeking for employment in different fields. All to no avail.

Nigerian ladies admit to lying after being dragged to court by the accused

A Nigerian man has called out two ladies after they admitted to lying about the rape allegation made against him.

In a series of tweet dated back to September 19, 2019, a lady identified as Cynthia accused him of trying to rape her friend, Anita after he took her out for a date.

Cynthia further advised other girls to steer clear from him as he doesn’t take ‘NO’ for an answer.

However, it appears Anita lied to her friend Cynthia and Tega about the attempted rape for reasons unknown.

Sharing an audio clip of one of the ladies admitting that they lied about the rape allegation they made against him, @ynotes_ said he got blocked after he reached out to one of his accusers to publicly say the truth.

He further revealed that after they got court summons, a friend reached out to him for settlement out of court but the ladies weren’t forthcoming with his demand of publicly admitting that they lied against him because of ‘fear of backlash’
