Stade De France To Host Liverpool As They Battle Real Madrid

Will Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti win a record fourth UEFA Champions League (UCL) title as a manager or can Liverpool thwart him and claim a treble of cup successes this term? Those and other questions will be answered as two of Europe’s finest sides clash in what promises to be a mouth-watering final in Paris.

Having seen off English contenders Chelsea and Manchester City in the previous rounds – after trailing at some point in each tie – Ancelotti’s side won’t fear the six-time champions as they haven’t lost a H2H since 2009 (W4, D1). Another good omen is that the Spanish sides (Madrid in 2000, and Barcelona in 2006) won both previous finals held at this stadium.

Liverpool’s hope for a quadruple was cut short when Manchester City became the English Premier League Champions for the 2021/2022 season.

The Stade de France is the national stadium of France, located just north of Paris in the commune of Saint-Denis. Its seating capacity of 80,698 makes it the seventh-largest stadium in Europe. The stadium is used by the France national football team.

This will be their third Champions League final in five years. The Reds’ first final under Jurgen Klopp was against their current opponents Real Madrid but on that day in 2020, it was Los Blancos who arose victoriously.
