I have a question, can I wear a Gele with a plain chiffon dress? I'm in a wedding & I'm the maid of honor in my best friend/male/groom wedding and he's half Nigerian. so to honor his mother & him I asked the bride(who made me her maid of honor) can I wear a Gele. So I am asking can I wear a Gele without having on African garments? I did it one time & I think ppl we're talking about me… No I'm not African(I do have a % in me, I don't know) but can I? Anyone can answer thanks in advance..

So I got tired of having to call and pay a pro each time I have an event. Sometimes as early as 5am just to make it in time for the event. I have never tied a gele in my entire life as a yoruba Nigerian, but guess what..I just watched ur video, picked up my gele against a wedding next weekend and boom in 2 tries I have an almost professional looking tie..Thank you so much for sharing! God bless you!
