Fashion and consistency do not go hand in hand. This may come as a surprise but there is a perfectly good explanation: style evolves steadily and new trends pop up daily. With every new trend comes a race for fashion faithfuls to keep up. Still, as male celebrities and top influencers across Africa stepped back into their routines last week, they did so in unconventional and debonair style.
Green with envy seemed to be the dress code for celebrity host Taymesan as he stepped out in a monochrome-inspired ensemble that was anything but monotonous. The presenter looked ultra sleek in a camouflage green knitwear which he complemented with a pair of army green pants. Because he’s well aware that no outfit is complete without the right shoes, the style star finished off the outfit with a pair of black leather boots completely in line with his refined taste. He further accessorized with a gold wristwatch and a pair of black sunglasses for a superb finishing.
No one has been a more prominent advocate for the Gucci crossbody box bag than latest South African musical sensation Focalistic. He stepped out sporting a co-ord athleisure set. Worn with a pair of white dad sneakers, the look is completely in line with the musician’s hip and urban style. Every detail, from his statement sunglasses to the Gucci bag, felt effortlessly luxurious. The type of casual menswear we take pleasure in beholding.
Sometimes, it takes a truly sophisticated look to encapsulate the true style of celebrities. Last week, male celebrities across Africa offered fans a front row seat to view their debonair style. We’ve curated the top ten for your inspiration.
