Great style is all about the fit, details and being comfortable in your own skin. Last week, some of the most stylish African celebrities were intent on reminding us that sometimes all it takes to elevate an entire outfit is simply the right fabric and details that undeniably wow!
As the global pandemic begins to show signs of easing off, celebrities are finding good reasons to bring every flair from sexy to classy back. In Nigeria, Nollywood star actress Ini Edo attended the Eko Star Film & TV Awards in an edgy burgundy two-piece suit by Julyet Peters, as styled by Mimi Yina. The suit, which featured boxy high shoulders and an asymmetric hem, also came with an embellished lapel. She kept the rest of her look simple as she opted for nude glam with a pair of Amina Muaddi x AWGE PVC slingback courts, and topped it off with the Louis Vuitton monogram Plexiglass Box Scott.
Over in Tanzania, former miss Tanzania, international model, and endometriosis awareness champion, Millen Magese attended the send-off party for her sister-in-law in a trumpet-style dress with a silver ruffled bodice and a white bottom by Secky fashion store. She completed her look with a contrasting metallic purse, nude glam, and middle-parted hairstyle.
More celebrities and top influencers across the motherland also came through in different cuts of stylish looks that were unapologetically ravishing.
The looks shared by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous and it’s safe to say that we are as usual, living vicariously through them. The top Stylish African Fashion influencer Instagram.
