On today’s episode of “planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful”; we have tips to help make choosing a wedding theme easy. Themes add colour to your wedding but it doesn’t have to be difficult to achieve.
It’s okay to not want a wedding theme, but we endorse it because it narrows down your choices as you plan your wedding. It also gives room for fun and creativity. So, if you don’t know where to begin, here are four tips to help:
1. Think mood
Think of what you want your guests to feel when they see you or walk into your reception hall. Do you want them to feel like they’re in Disneyland? Then your colours and decorations should feel magical. Do you want them to feel like they’ve been transported in time? Then lean towards vintage props.
2. Think colours
When you pick a particular set of colours and make sure all your decorations and props are in sync with that choice, you have a theme! The best way to achieve this is to use colour combinations that are beautiful and go together.
3. Think seasons
Seasons are a great inspiration when you’re planning a wedding. If you don’t feel like stressing yourself, just go with nature. Seasons don’t have to be based on the weather, you can use holidays also. Like the Valentine season, Christmas season, Ramadan season e.t.c
4. Think you
There has to be a part of you and your spouse’s personality in your theme so that you can enjoy your wedding as much as the guests. If you choose a theme you’re indifferent about, you’ll probably not appreciate your decorator’s hard work.
Still on stress-free weddings, here are some tips to choose budget-friendly decorations.
