Omoyele Sowore, the AAC Presidential Candidate, has slammed Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, for traveling to Egypt to study their procedures.
The former governor of Anambra State announced his travel to Egypt on Twitter, saying he will spend three days studying their power, education, planning, and finance sectors.
He stated, “I shared images of myself and my colleagues at the airport.”
“I just returned from a three-day trip to Egypt as part of my extensive research of countries that are analogous to Nigeria. In Egypt, I’ll be expected to shadow the Egyptian power, education, planning, and finance sectors, among others.”
However, Sowore, who is also running for president under the African Action Congress (AAC), chastised Peter Obi for only arriving 9 months before the poll.
Peter was a two-time governor of Anambra state, according to him, but he’s just interested in learning about the workings of a foreign country.
Sowore went on to say that Peter Obi is “unprepared” for the job.
“Heard @PeterObi traveled to Egypt to learn how to fix Education/Power problems, this is exactly the problem with unprepared candidates. It is 9 months to election & a two-term gov. & former VP candidate want to go learn something from Egypt in 3 days? Wow! #WeCantContinueLikeThis”
