TikTok Bans Influencer Over False News About Osinbajo’s Kiki

TikTok has banned a content creator with the username @Realcharley22 over a false news about Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s daughter Kiki.

The Liberian content creator had in a one minute, 22 second-long Update claimed that Ms Osinbajo was on Wednesday arrested by authorities in the UK in possession of huge sums of money.

On Thursday, however, the TikToker posted another Update recanting the earlier post on the vice president’s daughter.

The social media influencer retracted the story after being informed by a Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut that the report was false.

“Popular Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut just confirmed on Instagram that it is false, Kiki never got arrested.

“He asked me to take down the story and it is confirmed that the story is false,” the TikTok said.
