Toyin Abraham pens open letter to President Tinubu, reveals why she supported him – Lifestyle Nigeria

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham penned an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hours after his inauguration ceremony.

In the open letter, Toyin who is married to fellow actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi disclosed why she supported Tinubu’s candidacy despite the heavy criticisms and backlash she received.

The mother of one stated that she is not motivated by ethnicity or religion when it comes to her choice of leaders.

Toyin’s endorsement of Tinubu stems from his impressive track record as both a senator and a governor. She firmly believes that his capabilities would only excel further if he were to become President.

While she acknowledges that achieving unanimous support for Tinubu is a challenging task, his victory in previous elections indicates that he enjoys the backing of the majority.

Expressing her dismay, Toyin voiced her sadness over the fabrication that she received substantial financial compensation from Tinubu. In reality, her support for him is entirely voluntary and driven by her own convictions.

The EFCC summoned Obinna Iyiegbu a.k.a. Obi Cubana, a well-known businessman and socialite, for questioning on November 1st 2021. The nightlife entrepreneur was questioned by the EFCC’s Wuse Zone 6 office about alleged money laundering and tax fraud, according to reports, he was invited by the agency about two weeks before showing up. Before he was released, he received a flood of messages of support from Nigerian celebrities.

Ondo Guber: Tinubu’s anointed candidate ’emerges’

President Bola Tinubu has reportedly endorsed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to win the Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket.

The APC primary election will hold today in Akure, Ondo State capital.

I started singing because of a lady named Khadija whom I loved very much. We were very much in love to the extent that we would talk on the phone three times a day. That’s when I started writing a song for her, but she died later. May Allah forgive her soul!
