There have been reactions after a Twitter user @Petals_house stated that married women should not see washing their husband’s clothes and doing other chores as slavery in marriage.
@Gboye_Rave had earlier tweeted today criticizing men who refuse to help their wives but would instead relax while she does all the chores.
He expressed his displeasure at how a wife would wash a mountain of clothes under the sun while her husband relaxed in the house. According to him, such a woman would still be the one to cook the meals despite going to work from Monday to Friday.

“Husband is relaxing in the house, wife is washing a mountain of clothes outside under this sun. After this, she’ll go and cook. They do this every Saturday and they both go to work from Monday to Friday. You see this kind of marriage? I reject it for all my female friends,” he tweeted.
@petals_house responded to this by stating that there is nothing wrong with a woman doing all the chores while her husband relaxes. According to the user, the man provides for the family and should not take the place of the woman.
