Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid did not have a smooth childhood as he hailed from a poor background in the streets of Surulere, Lagos.

Wizkid used to hustle on the street of Ojuelegba before he could get his daily meal. He comes from the trenches so he knows how it feels like to see someone struggle or go through the same situation he went through unlike his counterpart, Davido who was raised with a silver spoon.
Wizkid openly talked about his struggles in his Ojuelegba song to serve as an inspiration to the ghetto youths who are aspiring to climb to the top.

He has now accomplished his dream of touching the lives of people through his songs and encouraging the youths to work hard to achieve their goals.
