A woman has raised no small controversy after claiming to have spotted her husband who died in 2014 in an advert run by an Indian restaurant.
Spice Cottage in Westbourne, West Sussex, United Kingdom, posted the Update on Facebook as part of its advertising campaign.
The Update concluded with a round of applause for the employees and showed guests enjoying their meals while waiters cared to customers. The footage was published on January 16, 2023 by the restaurant .
Lucy Watson, however, claimed in the comment section that she recognized her spouse from the Update and queried the restaurant as to when it was shot. The eatery shockingly claimed that the footage was only one week old.
Lucy Watson said: “How recent is the Update? My late husband and his son are on the first shot and he died in 2014??”
A reply from the restaurant said: “Hi Lucy, sorry to hear this. This Update was shot last week.”
Hundreds of comments have been made on the Update as people wondered why a man was eating “9 years after his death.”
