Using a lip scrub often helps keep the lips pink gorgeous, soft, smooth, supple and healthy looking aka exfoliated and moisturized.
Lip scrub may not be on everyone’s must have list but it should be! Just like the other parts of the body, the lips deserve some love once or twice a week (at most). Do you love matte lipsticks and generally want a pink…healthy looking lips? Then exfoliating your lips should be something you should never skip.
We took the Eco Pantry Coffee Lip Scrub for a test drive at the ZUMI Hq and we are showing you the steps and of course sharing results. You’re welcome.
Start with clean and clear lips (sans any form of lip wear, you don’t want to end up with messy colours all over the lips)
Moisten the lips
With clean fingers, apply the lip scrub all over the lips in gentle secular motions
Do this for both lips (top and bottom)
Wipe lips with gentle wipes/damp soft towel/face cloth
Follow up with virgin coconut oil to lock in moisture (to rehydrate the lips)
Do this for both lips
Continue with your lip wear per usual.
Using lip scrub once or twice weekly helps get rid of dead skin on the lips, leaving it softer and smoother. It also preps it for different lip wears while keeping it moisturized and generally in a healthy state.
You can totally make a scrub at home with sugar and honey/sugar and shea butter too!
Editor’s Note: The Eco Pantry Coffee Lip Scrub works great and it’s one to try out. It comes relatively cheap! You can get it here via DM.
