While all the demands and cries if the protesters have not been met, and the otherwise peaceful protest has been slightly hijacked by hoodlums and thugs, we remember some of the most iconic images since the EndSARS protest began.
Thanks to creatives and photographers in the country, history will remember all the efforts of the youths currently struggling for a better Nigeria for all and sundry.
While we mourn the loss of lives at Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos state and in other parts of the country, we will not forget their sacrifice and that is the fuel to keep us alive and dedicated to the struggle.
When the Chinese birthed the proverb, “a picture tells more than a thousand words”, they knew what they were writing. These images are memorable and will always be remembered.
Here are 10 iconic images since the EndSARS protest began:
1. Aisha Yesufu
These pictures of Aisha Yesufu at the Abuja protest ground giving us the state of liberty vibes and telling us that freedom is for all means a lot.
2. Kiki Mordi
Kiki Mordi showed up to the Lagos protest in a Mack Truck. Talk to me about power and energy.
3. Standing On The Oppressors
This is definitely the kind of picture to save for posterity, so you can laugh when the memories creep in.
4. The Sisters (And The Middle Finger)
There’s something very raw about this picture. It shows vulnerability, but it is also very brave. These two sisters carry the energy of the Nigerian youths in one picture. We may be pursued and hit from all angles, but we will not give up the fight or the EndSARS protest.

7. The Bloodied Nigerian Flag
This shows how far our leaders have gone. Just yesterday, Nigerians (peaceful protesters) were murdered in cold blood by the military for their unflinching stance in seeking a better country.
8. Davido
It’s the pained look on his face. Such a disappointing country!
9. Feeding the Oppressors
We have no drift with you. The fight is bigger than you, so a little love never hurt anyone.
