A 6-year-old girl in Bauchi whose sexual organ was removed by suspected ritualists in Nigeria is alive as she survives the gruesome assault.
According to details gathered by Lifestyle.ng, the young lady survived the assault by her attackers.
She is reportedly being treated at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano.
Bauchi State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil told PRNigeria that she was rushed to Kano after the rescue.
The Public Relations Officer said she was recuperating with a very good chance of survival.
Hauwa Inuwa Dutse, AKTH Public Relations Officer assured that doctors were doing their best to get the victim back to her normal life.
“We are taking care of her medically and monitoring to ensure that she is stable without other underlining medical ailments or issues which may include depression or infection...”, Dutse said
The medical bills of the young girl will be handled by the state government according to a statement gathered by Lifestyle.ng.
As it stands, the suspects, Abdulkadir Wada (19) and Adamu Abdulrauf (20), from Jama’are Local Government, are in Police custody.
